Effective date: 19 August 2026
Daily K9 Academy is a service of Daily Doggo Academy, LLC (d/b/a Daily K9 Academy), an Arizona limited liability company operating in Maricopa County, Arizona (“Daily K9,” “we,” “us,” “our”). This policy describes what information we collect, why we collect it, who else can see it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
We train service dog teams. That means some of what you tell us touches on your health and disability. We treat that information as the sensitive material it is, and this policy spells out exactly how.
Information you give us directly. When you book an intake call, complete a client intake form, upload vaccination records, message us through the chat window on this site, or email or call us, we collect:
Disability-related information. For service dog work specifically, you may choose to tell us about a disability so that we can help you identify and train tasks that mitigate it. You are never required to disclose a diagnosis to work with us. We need to understand what the dog must do, not what your medical file says. Anything you do share is used only to plan and deliver training.
A note on the chat window. The chat window on this site is a convenience for quick questions. Please do not type medical details or diagnoses into it — tell us what you are looking for and we will take the rest to a private intake call.
Information collected automatically. Our website records standard technical information — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring site — through our hosting provider and our analytics tool. This is aggregate traffic information; we do not use it to build a profile of you.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising. We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf:
Beyond those providers, we disclose information only where we are legally required to, or where disclosure is necessary to prevent imminent harm to a person or an animal.
We keep active client records for the duration of your program and for seven years afterward, which covers the useful working life of a service dog team and any follow-up support you may need. Vaccination records are kept for the duration of training plus one year. Intake enquiries that do not become client relationships are deleted within twenty-four months. You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see below.
Arizona law and the Americans with Disabilities Act both limit what anyone may ask a handler about their service animal. We hold ourselves to the spirit of that: we ask what a trainer needs in order to train, and nothing more.
If you have shared disability information with us and later want it removed from your file, tell us and we will remove it while keeping the training records we need to continue working with your dog.
You can ask us at any time to:
Email nv@dailyk9.com and we will respond within thirty days. There is no charge for this.
Our services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under thirteen. Where a minor participates in training as part of a household, we collect only what the parent or guardian provides. If you believe we hold information about a child, contact us and we will delete it.
We use reputable providers, keep access limited to those who need it, and transmit information over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — but if a breach ever affects your personal information, we will tell you.
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above and add a “last updated” date. Material changes affecting how we handle disability information or veterinary records will be emailed to active clients directly.
