Everyday dog training in Goodyear.
Private lessons at your house, or 2 weeks of board and train. Same trainer and same standard as my service dog teams.
What we work on.
Things like loose-leash walks, a recall that works at the park, door manners, jumping on guests, and dogs that lose it at other dogs on a walk.
How it works.
- Fill out the intake form. I read every one myself.
- We start with 1 intro session at your house. You see how I work before you commit to anything.
- Most families do the Foundations package - 5 sessions with homework in between. Some dogs do better with 2 weeks of board and train first, then a go-home lesson with you.
Why a service dog trainer.
Service dogs have to hold it together in a grocery store, a clinic and an airport. I train pet dogs to that same bar. Your dog doesn't need to be a service dog. It just needs to listen when it counts.
I train you too. You're the one walking the dog every day.
What clients say.
"My two Jack Russell Terrier mix dogs benefited greatly from Nicole's training. Her gentle but firm techniques, really at training me, helped me get more control over my two very different temperament and age dogs."
"We've had many German Shepherds, but none as reactive as Scout - we were overwhelmed and had no idea where to start. Nicole taught us how to communicate with him clearly and navigate tough situations. Now he enjoys neighborhood walks relaxed and confident. Forever grateful for Nicole's guidance."
"Malcolm made such a big leap after working with Nicole! She taught him to walk on the leash without pulling, and he's so much more enjoyable to walk now. He's always struggled with reactivity toward people and dogs he doesn't know, but since working with Nicole he's become way more controllable and is learning to ignore other dogs we come across. I'd highly recommend her to anyone in need of a dog trainer!"
"Reign, a shepherd mix from the shelter, was very skittish and reactive to other dogs. Nicole trained us both how to approach this behavior with clear and firm expectations. She also taught us how to give Reign a “job” - simple ways to keep her thinking and active while enforcing good choices with fun, unexpected rewards, which in turn helps with reactivity. Both Reign and I are grateful to have learned from Nicole."
